Estrés y su relación con el rendimiento de los universitarios en tiempos de COVID-19

Resumen


En la actualidad la humanidad se encuentra en tiempos de pandemia causado por COVID-19, donde los estudiantes tienen que adaptarse a los nuevos cambios, y como consecuencias se han visto afectaos por estrés académico, con repercución negativa en su rendimiento escolar. El objetivo fue brindar evidencia disponible sobre la relación del estrés académico con el rendimiento de los universitarios en tiempo de COVID-19. Se ejecutó una búsqueda sistemática de literatura teniendo en cuenta las directrices de Kitchenham & Charters y de la organización PRISMA, para estudios publicados entre el 2020 y 2021. Se identificó 33.068.071 artículos en las bases de datos de PubMed, Web of Science, EBSCOhost, Google Scholar, Taylor & Francis Online, ProQuest, ACM Digital Library, IEEE Xplore, Emerald y Microsoft Academic, a continuación, se aplicó los criterios de exclusión y criterios de calidad, incluyéndose 56 artículos para su revisión final. Como principal resultado obtenido fueron datos estadísticos de investigaciones sobre estrés académico y rendimiento, variables que se encuentran relacionadas con múltiples factores propios de la actual pandemia. Este constituye un fenómeno que afecta la salud a nivel fisiológico, psicológico y social, repercutiendo en el rendimiento académico en los universitarios. se recomienda realizar investigaciones orientadas a está área y relacionada a variables sociodemográficas con el objeto de proporcionar herramientas al estudiantado para enfrentar las consecuencias del estrés académico.
